Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. Today I am going to travel far in the future, as I did in my previous post. We are going to talk about a course that you would like to take when you finish your major degree. When I heard this I said "What?! Are you crazy? How am I going to talk about what I am going to do after I graduate if I'm not even close to gradute yet?" Anyway, I will try to look beyond that I have in front of my eyes and tell you what I would like to do. I'm just joking. I do use to look at the future but I question myself about if it is going to be as I imagine it. I'll tell you about that later.

Answering the question about what I would like to do when I finish my major degree I would say taking a Master in Biochemistry.
I would consider taking this course in the future because it's objective is giving a high level background in Biochemical sciences and its aplications to professionals and university graduates. I understand this as the opportunity of getting a deeper knowledge in different areas of biochemistry than that one I should have when I finish the major. So I would like to take this course because I would like to know more about "Environmental Biochemstry", wich is one of the subjects considered in the course.
As I mentioned before, in previous posts, I'm mainly interested in that subject because is related with the environment, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to study the other subjects included in the course, such as Toxicologic Biochemistry and Molecular Diagnosis and Biochemistry of Recombinant Proteins to mention some of them. They sound very interesting too. In fact, I just can say that they "sound" great because I have no real idea of what are they going to be about.
I don't know too much about how are this kind of courses abroad, but I do know that Universidad de Chile is a great place to study Biochemistry, so I would take it as my first option to take this course, at least with the knowledge that I have until now.
If there is the possibility, I would like to take this course in a part-time system, so that I don't have to spend the whole day at university.
Did you notice how many times I used the word "would"? That is because I can't be certain that all the things that I want for my future are going to happen. When I was writing this post I relized about how much faith it is neccesary to believe that we are going to be where we want to be in five years, and even more to believe that everything is going to be as good as we imagine it. Anything could happen in five years, in fact, anything could happen in the following hour. So, whether we like it or not, we are always making decisions based on faith. The thing is: Where am I going to put my faith? Whom am I going to believe in?
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11New Living Translation (NLT)
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:30-33New Living Translation (NLT)
Personally, I already now in whom I am going to trust. I hope you take the best decision.
God bless you and have a nice day! :D
